2020-21 with Vatanen

Jets fans...do you think we have a realistic shot at signing Vatanen? He isn't really someone I've looked at in the past but think he would be a great mentor for Niku & Heinola and all of the other finish prospects we have in the system.

Obviously salary is gonna be a factor, and what I proposed may not be accurate as I'm not totally sure what kind of money he will get in Free Agency.

maybe not, but he's one of the better options in free agency and everyone always overpays in free agency

That why I put in the description that the contract might be off, I am genuinely not sure what he's worth. I personally don't think he's worth 6 million/year BUT, like @masterjuddi said, he's one of the best options in Free Agency. Look at Myers contract for example (YIKES). If we were able to get him on a good contract with reasonable term, would you be interested?

Totally...I agree...He would be great to have as a mentor of the young Fins...
