Description

Make the case for 3 line LW

Personally, I say Ladd. As much as I hate his contract, I trust him more come playoff time. He’s a veteran polished player, and good for the bottom 6. I wouldn’t hate Kuhnhackl because he has lots of experience, and is a good PK guy. Komorav can play his strong side, he’s a veteran, and good PK. MDC is decent offensively. Personally, I’d go with Ladd or Kuhnhackl. Kuhnhackl was great in round 1 last year.

They need grit in that line. I’d put in Komorav or Ladd

I completely agree with this. For the playoffs, Ladd/Komarov is going to play over the other options (MDC/Bellows/Johnston). It depends on who performs better in the regular season when everyone is healthy. My guess is Komarov will play 3LW since he can PK, but I don't disagree that if Ladd can show he can still play that he would fit well in that spot.

Depending on who they are playing they could rotate Martin, Kuhnackal, Dal Colle, Johnston.

Although dal colle struggles to finish, he does drive play Pretty well. His best games as an islander have come playing with cizikas and clutter. Kuhnhackl should never suit up for the islanders again unless half the lineup is injured.
