Keep Dermott with Muzzin and Liljgren with Sandin

Think players should be traded for other players and not draft picks as Leafs window for competing for the cup is just approaching.

Obvious issue here is the cap. No way is a team going the entire season without a full roster.

Let’s operate under the assumption that Petro would accept this (i don’t think he will, but no point arguing that), I still think 3 million more needs to be shaved off the cap. I suppose that means either kerfoot or kapanen is moved for an entry level player.

I would think moving Kapanen for draft capital for the 2021 draft (so it could be used at the deadline), and giving Bracco an opportunity would be the best way to do this.

There’s that pesky salary cap thing though.

multiple teams did that this season and have used call ups and LTIR accordingly. If they need to go in either a roster of 20 to be cap compliant there's evidence that they will.
