This is a strange trade. Marleau still has some ability left, but GMJR may have overpaid just a bit for his services.

I woulda perferred Kovalchuk over Marleau but hopefully Patrick fits well for us.

Thing I don't like is Marleau is dog sh... slow and the Penguins play a really fast game. I feel like Namestnikov might've even been better.

The penguins needed a league min depth forward because they got 1/3 of their skaters on IR.
Lafferty can fill in here and there but agozino (spelling) and Angello simply are not answers. Their 4th line has been a joke as of late. This is a move due to injuries.His cap number has everything to do with why they got him.
