it is the trade deadline i mean i would assume every GM would hold a press conference today

So sad if that is the case. I wish he could stay a Ranger for the rest of his career. Hopefully it is just a Kreider extension.

Do you think they'd put together press conference to announce a resigning? Since teams don't announce new players in a press conference before the TDL has past. So Hank's retirement is the only likely reason for the press conference.

I think in this situation the news of Kreider re-signing should be made a big deal. Rangers are in a rebuild and instead of trading away a solid piece they commit to him and he commits to the team. Feel good story IMO.

only see it if he took a hometown discount to stay.. number that keeps popping up is 6x6 but nothing has been confirmed. rangers are notoriously tight lipped, so don't expect an update for 8 minutes

The press conference would be after 3pm If it was a trade. Announcing Kreider's resigning would mostly likely be done after 3pm as well.
