I think Commodore is playing everyone. To me, makes little sense for the Avs unless Grubauer is done for year and Sakic was confident that he could deal Henrik in the fall. With Francouz's extension it makes the rumor seem unlikely.

Hank with 1 year left at 8.5m is very doable for the Avs so thats not an issue, it muddies their goaltending situation next year with Francouz just signed a 2 year extension.
It would all pending if their internal plan was to move away from Grubauer in the offseason.

It just makes little sense imo. If they want 3 goalies for a run they could get a cheap alternative and have that alternative off the books at the end of the season.

Would like to get more than Jost and Kamenev. Kaut and Beaucage would be my ask and keep the 3rd rounder. Would settle for Bowers and Beaucage now that we have no leverage thanks to our GM for waiting until the last minute.

we dont even want henry we cant afford him and krieders contract, but its an underpayment imo. but im not giving up Beaucage for a goalie we dont need and a 6.5 mill player when we need to sign landy and makar in two years
