Those fan and delusional media keep forgetting that Price has a freaking NMC. A N M C. I bet even Bergevin knows that Price is untradable because he would have to give up future assets which is the last thing Bergevin wants to give up.

And you guys live on another planet if you think Price doesn’t have value due to is contract, if he’s really getting trade to COL, one of Byram or Newhook is coming. Every GM in the league knows Price is really good even with that 10.5M contract, MTL wont trade him if we received **** like Jost Kaut and only picks, they’ll rather just keep him. So Price won’t be traded probably, Sakic isn’t the kind of guy who’ll throw away Byram/Newhook

You aren’t getting one of the better prospects in the entire nhl for a 32 year old goalie with one of the worst stat lines for a starter, with a full nmc and a 10.5m cap hit

He has one of the worst Contracts in the nhl, you don’t demand high end value when you’re trying to get rid of it

And if price is as amazing as hab fans claim he still is, you wouldn’t be trying to get rid of him. He’s not good now you have to come to grips with that.

It's not all Montreal Fans and I've seen a bunch of trades recently from Montreal fans that I didn't recognize that were completely plausible.

Sakic is saying Byram and Newhook are off the table and then having conversations with Bergevin about Price apparently knowing full well (as fans say) that it will require one of Byram and Newhook. If this is the case then how much are Bergy and Joe taking advantage of legalization in Canada and Colorado?

I know Bergevin has been chatting with Joe lots and yeah where there's smoke, there's likely fire. I couldn't tell ya what it is but I do not want to keep this tradition of Colorado picking up Montreal goalies. It's not worth it anymore. This isn't getting Roy or trading career backup Aebischer for the remnants of Theodore.

Yeah I do too. Great 2 way game. Would be excellent middle 6 depth going into the playoffs. Plus Suomi buds Donskoi and Rantanen are there to make him feel at home (take note Edmonton). Seems fair because Jost's ceiling is possibly higher but when will that happen?
