Détails additionnels:
Gagner will probably either sign in edmonton in the off season, or just become a scout for them, as he's unfortunately ready to retire. I'd also probably say it's 50/50 on Ennis resigning, and Namestikov probably goes back to Tampa if the oilers don't go deep into the playoffs

Take gagner and granlund out and make it a 2nd and 4th round pick. Ottawa doesn't need bottom 6 forwards that they could just sign down the road.

The cap situation won’t work if they’re not included. And puljujarvi and a 2nd for rentals? At that price you’ll get to watch them walk for nothing.

Have you seen what the rental market is?

You aren't getting two rentals that could each get 2nd round picks, for pulju and 2 bottom 6 players that are worthless to a team like Ottawa.

Pulju is a guy they need to sign in the off season, and then trade.

Try thinking of what you could trade players for pick wise. If you wouldn't give up 4th round picks for guys like gagner and Granlund, then they probably don't have much value in a trade.

like I said in another post, I understand those guys have negative value. But as it is with all of Edmonton's injuries, they are right up against the cap with only a 21 man roster. All I'm saying is that if Ken Holland is going to make a deal, the Salary Cap is definitely going to have to be a large consideration. It also doesn't make any sense for him to spend lots of futures on a team that clearly isn't a cup contender. I see him making more of a hockey trade if anything, so Puljujarvi+Fringe players/ 3-4th liners+lower picks for better roster players is about all that can be done at the moment. And Absolutely this likely leads to no deal at all if another team isn't interested in a player like Khaira/Chaisson/Russell or taking on the cap of Gagner/Granlund

There still needs to be some forethought on what the other team wants and is looking to do in the trade.

All the reasons you brought up are why deals are hard to get done. Teams aren't going to help out other teams because of cap implications without getting compensated for it.

He's an unsigned player that has been demanding a trade since the off season. There's not much leverage.

As I said before, JP is a player Holland needs to sign in the off season, then trade.
