I think the idea of moving on from from Andersen makes a lot of sense. He'll be 32 by the end of next season, and he's not an elite starter to begin with. If Robin Lehner hits the open market the Leafs should be all over him. He's younger and substantially better.

That said, expecting that kind of return for Andersen is beyond ridiculous

So are you thinking at the draft/in the summer? Cause I think to move him now you would need a big overpayment, unless you really believe in Campbell being able to carry the team. But I agree, long term they should be looking elsewhere cause I don't think you can resign him at a good(comfortable) number & a short enough term
