Honestly, I think the most valuable thing about Severson is his contact... Don't get me wrong I like him as a player but some devil fans on here think he'worth Johnsson and Kapanen lol. I also like Zacha but I think Dermott for him might be a better fit although they kinda need help everywhere and maybe with Bracco if needed could get it done ( although more likely in he offseason because Rielly is still out) and solve a need for both teams especially if Kerfoot gets traded. I don't know anything about Clark but overall I think this is a good deal for both sides.

Side note: dude, what do you think about the panthers deal?

Not huge fan of Severson but he's probably an upgrade for the Leafs.

Hated moving Machment but will admit I know nothing of the guy we got back in return.

Let's just say I'm not a fan. I really liked Marchment and I liked his old man too. I saw his #'s @ the NHL and they're nothing to write home about. I'm really surprised Dubas did it after all the time they've spent developing the kid and it was a sideways move at best IMO. I'm actually really pissed but I don't want to take out my frustrations on anyone lol.

What do you think we can get for Barrie? And would you move him or like to see him moved?

Barrie, I think moving him makes sense no matter playoffs or not. Hes not a good fit here, period.

His return will depend on who hes going to.
Based of the return of other D man traded, I feel Barrie should fetch more... that low cap hit is gonna appeal to alot of teams.

Yeah Barrie with the right fit will be way more valuable than the D we saw traded over the last couple of days. What he fetches? Harder to answer because under Babcock he was not having a good season. Under Keefe he's been that offensive player people know him as.

The first teams that come to mind is Carolina( but they want a d with term) Calgary, Columbus (although unlikely they trade any picks after last year) Dallas maybe? Philly, Pitts, Tampa (although unlikely after their trade with the devil(s) lol and the whole division rivals thing, Van again unlikely but... And Vegas but well you know... What say you sir?
