You're overvaluing Kreider, I like him as a place, but you're not getting any of Newhook, Stud or Wahlstrom for him, plus 1sts in certain deals, just no.

Kreider has shown elite potential and is currently in his prime. He’s a difference maker on the Ice and is gunna probably break 60+ points this season. For the best rental on the market, someone’s gunna pay a 1st and a high end prospect. For the Islanders, they’re divisional rivals so if the deal gets done, there’s going to be a massive return for the Rangers. If Kreider gets dealt, I can guarantee you it will be similar to one of those deals.

I think these asking prices are fine - but will likely get slightly below them. Of the three, my preference would be NYI, then COL, then BOS.

Realistic counter-offers:
BOS: Studnicka, 2020 2nd; conditional 2021 4th that becomes 3rd if he resigns
COL: Bowers, 2020 1st
NYI: Wahlstrom, 2020 3rd; 2021 4th that becomes 2021 1st if Kreider resigns (*)

* NYR won't want Kreider resigning for NYI

Boston has been adamant about not trading Studnicka.
The Avs one is basically a one for one trade and if the Avs were late in their window for contending it would make sense. Or if they were sure to resign Kreider. I think they'd say no
Cant see the Rangers a d Isles doing a huge deal with each other.

If the Isles want Kreider really bad, and they should because he would be a perfect fit for them, Gorton better make them pay up big time. I think the deal posted by OP should be the minimum Gorton accepts from the Isles.

I'm not interested in Boston's prospects.

Trading Kreids to COL would be my preference. They have a ton of prospects. Getting Newhook would be the best outcome, but I think a lesser (though still highly regarded) prospect, 1st, and conditional pick on re-signing would be more likely.
