With Timmins looking to be the guy behind Makar for years to come, filling in for him when he's injured and being a reliable 2nd pairing RHD, I don't think there is a lot that could entice Sakic. An equal prospect on forward could possibly work? I could see Romanov and Timmins tearing it up. Maybe Poehling would be the forward equivalent in value?

I meant to add that the trade didn't need to involve Tatar I brought it up because, I read an Avs fan propose Timmins, Sampo Raanta, 2020 5th for either Domi or Drouin on Reddit would that be in the realm of possibility or would it have to involve someone like Poehling

Your a pest, commenting on every deal that anyone makes with Colorado acting like you actually work for the team and have any idea what is actually going on. Yet you never have anything to say that furthers a real conversation about player worth or which trades would actually be beneficial to any team. You have no clue on the value of any player in the NHL from what I have seen.

Sakic should have no problem dealing Newhook or Timmins if he actually wants to compete for a cup now while his window is wide open. Byram would be tougher to get for sure but should in no way be considered untouchable from a team in the win now position of Colorado.

Newhook isn’t getting moved for someone like Tartar, he is to good, I’m pretty sure Sakic has him set as the 2C possibly as soon as next year.

Graves, has played his way into a top 4 role, why would ANY team trade a top 4 dman that makes under a $1M?

Coleman return has nothing to do with the price of Tatar...lightning openly saying they over paid doesnt translate apples to apples for trade values.
Tampa paid more for Colemans extra year and his low cap hit....Tatars cap hit holds 0 value to the avs, the extra year is nice, but they could care less what his contracti s for 1 year with all their cap space
