dont think Avs will trade kaut, they didn't call him up just to trade him in 5 days.

I would argue that it is exactly why he was called up. Give the scouts a look.

It kind if seems like Kaut was called up so teams can see him play a few NHL games before acquiring him, 100% think it’s clear Kaut is a very sought after prospect. Avs wont give up Newhook unless blown away by an offer and getting several top 6 Fs with term.

its 2 parts with that. A story on Kaut when he was hurt and struggling thinking he was going to get traded for Hall. Sakic went to him and told him dont worry, He believes in him, and since then he has turned his season around, playing exceptional well.

Just really cant see Sakic giving a guy a vote of confidence, him responding to it, finally getting his NHL dream, just to trade him a couple days later. Classy Joe is still classy as a GM. Would be a big shock if he did it bc hes still a players oriented guy

scouts know who Kaut is, a couple nhl games in a limited bottom 6 role are nto going to make them go crazy and change their scouting reports on him.
