Description

Vincent Trocheck would be an ideal top 2 centreman for the Sens as they move to the compete phase of the rebuild and offers a buffer for Norris/White to continue developing. I'm not sold on Logan Brown as a top 6 centreman, so admittedly I won't be surprised if some see the Trocheck trade as an overpay by the Sens.

Boedker has no value, definitely not a third. Especially not from Boston. Be lucky to get that for Namestnakov, I doubt that it will be a second for him.

No point in spending almost 4 years developing a project into a top 6 NHL C and then trading him in the middle of a rebuild.

I like trocheck but it doesn't really make much sense for Ottawa to trade Brown+a 1st for him. Thats a deal that a contending team would maybe pull off.

Tro plays with much better players in Florida than he would in Ott. He would come here and put up 35 points. Sens don't need him, especially for that package
