Leafs still need a goalie Chicago

Description
Another big performance by Andersen on just 24 shots; .792 SV %. He has looked bad for 2 months now...that's more then a slump. He's now down to .906 for the season. Lehner is an obvious upgrade.

This makes no sense. The guy was injured and will find his groove. They paid alot to get Campbell, you dont make emotional decisions like this and throw away assets.

Something is wrong with Andersen, it's been 2 months of obvious bad play. Campbell was a stop gap for a #1 but when your #1 isn't looking like a #1 when your playoffs are on the line, then you make a move. They should have gotten a 1B not a #2 given Andersen's play.

Must TO win every trade, can't fans post a WIN-WIN scenario too?
Perhaps the ROOT of the problem, is that Dubas also shares the fans fervour (hmmm food for thought)...

Overpay by Chi-town - denied sorry!!

No way! Leafs can get much better value for Kapanen at the draft. Besides, you can't pin this on Freddy, who stood on his head, sometimes practically literally, for the majority of the first half of the year. If you are going to blame anyone, you can blame the PK, who has been dismal. Better yet, you can blame the PP. I am not sure if you watched, but that 2-man advantage was an epic disaster. If you want to even place more blame, you can throw some shade at Martin Marincin, or perhaps the coach who slotted him into the lineup, or perhaps, even more so, the GM who has done an incredibly poor job at building this team up to CONSISTENTLY contend. A lot of blame can be passed around, but this is in no way totally Freddy's fault. With better defense in front of him, and better special teams, the Leafs could be winning more often.

Yep. A complete lack of attention to detail by the D and forwards. I'm not saying Andersen is world beater, far from it...but going strictly by the numbers is just asinine.

I was at the Buffalo game and saw first hand what I've been watching on t.v. for the last 20-ish games. The D and forwards have to take some pride when defending.

Play with abit of heart...play like you give a ****.

I'm not blaming Freddy in totality but be honest, while he stood on his head the first 1/2 of the season, his wheels are coming off the last two months. Where are the Leafs going to just grab a top 3 defensive d guy, because at a minimum, that's what they need? Chicago has two 1st string goalies and both Crow and Lehner have shown they stand on their heads behind just as bad of a defensive unit. Crow .912 and Lehner .920 sv percentage against the team with the most shots against at over 36 per game (Leafs are 10th in shots against). Chicago also is #2 in most high danger shots against behind the Jets, Leafs again aren't in the top 5.

LMAO almost every Hawks fan has seen them hoist 3 cups and 7 playoffs runs. Very few Leafs fans have seen them hoist A cup or get deep in the playoffs. We are having plenty of fun in Chicago unlike you folks...stop trolling; you're barking up the wrong tree... you won't win this.

CHI success has gotten them no doubt but it's the ultimate success.
To be honest they are closer than the record but the league is tight (West Conf. not so much). Majority of pundits (TSN-SN Trana-based) have many a time stated that if Hawks get in the top-8, they would NOT bet 'agin them and I def see that logic...

Yeah because they are dangerous with a ton of cup experience. Look at the way they destroyed the Leafs as a prime example; winning both matchups with the recent 6-2 slaughtering.
