I can't see the Caps going for a forward that would kick Oshie out of the Top 6. He's having a fabulous year and is the heart of the team. Maybe a true 3rd liner with more scoring than (Panik, Hags) would do the trick for the top 9. Then you could bump Hags down to 4th line where he should be. If Caps are serious about the Cup, they do need a D for that 2nd pair for sure though.

Maybe drop Djoos out and I think you'd have to put someone like Leason in there. We would be getting Manson for this playoff and 2 more seasons. Guys with term should get more than above.

Don't really want Leason either his apparent close to NHL readiness doesn't help us (not to mention he has been bad in the AHL) and he never had the type of ceiling that would make him more valuable than a Comtois or Terry or Steel

He is their only real top 4 RHD. It would have to be an overpay. It's like the people who are mocking for a Rakell trade. That would cost a fortune to do.
