I don't think Edmonton does that trade. They might be interested in Helm, but maybe just for a 3rd and a b level prospect

Gagner and Manning both come off Edmonton's books at the end of this season. Holland doesn't need to move them unless he is bringing in high-priced rentals for the play-offs. If he considers moving Samorukov and this year's 2nd round pick, he'll be expecting the return to be at least a young top-six forward, or a solid right-handed centre to play on Edmonton's third line. Moving Samorukov will require that the returning asset be under team control for a while, either an RFA or under a multi-year contract.
