In all honesty I've been drinking.
Just some ideas I've been tossing around.

Just going to send it.

Massive over payment by Hawks for Dumba therefore deal never happens as Bowman says get lost.

Really I thought the hawks hated Nylander?

I think your are right. However I think giving up Strome, Shaw and a high 1rst round pick is getting excessive for Dummy.

Yeah... that’s a no from Columbus. We aren’t ready to trade Korpisalo yet but if we did that’s not a bad trade.

Chicago guys keep telling me shaw is done, too many concussions, so I have him here as a cap dump but they can put him on there long term ir if they want.

You need to call in @ChiHawk for a Hawks fan assessment of this trade.

Yeah that is pretty bad for the Hawks. Donato isn't anything special. I like Dumba but the Hawks have Boqvist already as their #1 right handed puck moving D guy and they are about to get another stud for next year in Ian Mitchell. We'll keep Strome and if Shaw is out, we will just LITR him so no biggie.

So here is the thing you have Toews for as long as he can play and Dach seems to fit what Chicago does pretty well. You are tight against the cap, with some maneuvering you can find a way to sign all you RFA's .
Strome is pretty much a 3c and there is a expansion draft on the horizon. Is there a trade to be made with the Wild for Strome?

Problem is we are going to want picks and prospects for Strome and the Wild are rebuilding so not a great fit

I can't like what you are saying because I don't like it. I also except what you are say though.
Last question Boldy for Strome straight up?

That's a tough one, I don't dislike Boldy but don't think he's a sure fire top 6 player...likely a very good solid 3rd liner but not so sure he's going to slot in higher given his lack of speed.

That is my assessment of him as well. The kid has started to click lately and he gets a lot of shots on goals, so some of his numbers are misleading. He just doesn't skate well. I am more willing to gamble on trading him then most Wild fans since we seem well stocked at LW, in the pros and minors.
Strome hasn't been great yet, but I'm kinda thinking he may follow a similar development path as his brother.

Sorry I'm half in the bag I mean he hasn't been good lately. I definitely think he has 1c potential, he is just buried behind some very good centers.
So my new offer is Strome for Boldy and Sturm and a 3rd.
Boldy you know. Sturm projects to a bottom 6 center and will be ready for NHL minutes very soon if not already.
