Don't know why you compared Subban to Ceci. Ceci might have been the best Leafs RHD despite the rantings on CF. Yeah you didn't trade much to get Subban, that's because he's not good. Lot better ways to spend 4.5m a year for two years than Subban.

If we are trading Murphy, we are rebuilding, so we want picks and prospects. Not Johnsson, who is very overrated, and Bracco, who is not even close to "DeBrincat Jr" (more likely a bust). Given that Murphy is on a solid contract and has term, it will take a first and a B prospect.
