Certainly pass on the second trade and Simmons’s in the first. Even with him in it is an overpay. But if muzzin is re signed I would certainly move Johnsson Dermott and kerfoot (balance with picks) for severson and Coleman.

I don't see Ottawa doing that deal, doesn't make a lot of sense. They trade two roster players for one, two AHL projected prospects and 4th round picks?

Jersey trade is impossible, since the Leafs can not trade their 2021 first until the decide which pick they are sending Carolina. And once they do, I can't see them moving ANOTHER first rounder. As well, trading Dermott at the deadline before they know how healthy Rielly is would be a massive mistake. He seems to me like an offseason deal, if at all. And trading for Simmonds would be a massive mistake, he is worse then every other forward the Leafs have.

Pens concept is interesting I just don’t see them trading POJ after trading Addison. I feel like they held on to POJ for a reason.
