Rakell for Bouchard + a 1st seems fairly close. Certainly something I, a flames fan, would not look forward to if we meet in the playoffs.

I mean... I love Marner, he is my favourite Leaf... I don't think Manson is that special (average possession stats, slightly higher D Zone Starts), but I think Rakell is an absolute steal at his price point.

I feel like you could get a lot for Rakell on his own, even considering his injury history.

Would I give up Marner for both? Fills positional need, and replaces Marner in the lineup... I would have to think long and hard about it. If it was Nylander the deal would be done yesterday (I's probably even tack on a highish pick - late 1st, early 2nd)

I think Rakell's contract is really what makes a team consider it. Him and Arvidsson are just on straight steals.

If I'm using Marner to aquire, my target is very very far from Manson, I'm calling about Seth Jones, but that whole other discussion. Rakell on his own would certainly draw attention from the flames with an offer starting with 2020 1st, An A prospect (Jacob Pelletier or whatever) and probably Sam Bennet.

Moving Manson is harder as the teams that have interest have no interest in moving a top RHD prospect and a 1st to aquire an average defense man

For Rackell and Manson, you can maybe get Bracco I think. Maybe Ceci and a second too.
