I think MIN gets a guaranteed 1st out of any Dumba trade

1st and a center prospect is the current starting point according to people with actual sources. This is the CapFriendly special, otherwise known as a bunch of spare parts to make it look like you're sending over value. Probably works in NHL 20 if you get the trade value bar high enough, doesn't work in real life.

I would think something centered around Strome + 1st (+ whatever else on either side) would make more sense for MIN if they deal with CHI.

Isn't Gus a UFA at year end? I highly doubt MB is willing to pay picks for rentals at this stage, even though Gus could be a good fit otherwise.

Only way Dumba goes to an in-division team is for an unprotected 1st and center prospect+. Not sure the Hawks have anyone they'd be willing to part with that would satisfy the second part.

Minny has been clear they want a #1 Center Or a #2 Center + a high pick coming back.

At Bare Minimum it would be Chicago's 1st + Dylan Strome for Dumba.

Minny would most likely be asking for Kirby Dach.

This whole giving up value to get value and not giving up spare parts to get value is frustrating eh!
