Description
This is more of a retool than a rebuild as it is become more and more clear the Wild’s first order of business needs to be finding a legit starting goalie. Talbot is a stop-gap tender giving the Wild time to fix this ugliness...
Signing C Erik Haula is an option too.

  1. Addison, Calen
  2. Hållander, Filip
Détails additionnels:
Before you go ballistic on me for thus, please consider that I consider Foligno a better player than Zucker...sincerely! Especially for a long playoff run. He has been spectacular this season in all facets of the game. He and Zucker are completely different players and both would add elements to make the Penguins Cup favorites!

Question: could Addison be converted to a forward??? I believe defensemen can be moved to forwards, but not the reverse.
PIT
  1. Foligno, Marcus
  2. Zucker, Jason
Détails additionnels:
I hate to trade Foligno! Absolutely hate it, but I firmly believe the Wild need to take a step backwards, get their goaltending situation resolved, and then take 2 or 3 steps forward. Hallander and Addison would help in that capacity.

Détails additionnels:
Donato needs an opportunity to play a middle 6 role and he’s not likely to get in Minnesota anytime soon. Vancouver can be any team.

Pens wouldn't give up Addison unless they are getting an allstar player. Would sub their first rounder in there though and maybe a b-c level prospect to make the deal happen. I disagree that Foligno is a better player than Zucker, however I do like him as a player and think he helps the pens by adding some size and grit that they lack in physical playoff series.

I’m pretty confident the Wild can get Hallander and a 1st for Zucker alone. Foligno is a stud and exactly the kind of player who can have a huge impact in the playoffs. I think this deal is more than fair.

You're overvaluing Addison, he is a good prospect but not that good.

He has also never had more than 23 points in a season. It may be fair, but the pens aren't giving up any of Poulin, Legare or Addison at the deadline unless they get blown away. GMJR said he would rather give up future picks than prospects.

Donato is a perfect fit in Edmonton, and the Oilers need wingers badly that I could see them giving up a 2nd.

I wouldn't be so sure about that now...
