I think Muzzin will want at least 5. Also, I know it's a small sample size, but Mikheyev could really be a gem. Almost a 0.6ppg guy before he got hurt. He was pretty good on the PK too.

There is no way in hell i would trade Mikheyev for Clutterbuck. We find this diamond in the ruff out of the KHL after each attempt over the last several years trying to find quality NHL talent out of free agent euro players and you want to turn around and trade him for Cal ****ing Clutterbuck?



If Mikheyev can produce at a 40 point pace while providing the speed, tenacity and defense he showed he will be a very valuable piece for our contention window for the next half decade. Not to mention he is expansion draft exempt which lets us protect another valuable asset. Clutterbuck has been a good 4th liner in his career but we are in no position to be spending even half his salary on a 4th line player. Not to mention he is 32 and on the decline. This would be the kind of short sited move to try and address team toughness that would haunt us if Dubas decided to do.
