Suter isn't waiving his NMC for Montreal, And Gaudreau has made it known that he wants to play close to home Philly/NJD So you going to give up that much for 2 years of Gaudreau? Not enough for Gaudreau anyways and Suter isn't waiving for Montreal.

Make the 2021 2nd in 2020 and a 1st then replace Poeling with Kotki or Tatar with Gally and Calgary accepts

The Flames won’t sell low on Gaudreau, because quite simply the owners won’t allow it as he brings the team a ton of revenue. It will have to be worth their while to trade him.

Agree that Suter wont waive is NMC but for the trades Tatar Poehling 2nd isn't enough for Gaudreau IMO Suter trade is more than fair but again he wont waive

then again Gaudreau doesn't have a NMC/NTC so Flames can trade him wherever they want

The idea that someone would trade a 26 year old 80-90 point player for 1 year of a 30 yr old 50-60 point player a prospect that will be a bottom 6 forward and a 2nd in NEXT years draft is delusional

The thing is a team like Buffalo may be desperate enough to give up a high end prospect like Cozens

So in your opinion Gaudreau as more value than Hall.... for Nick Merkley (B+ Prospect), Nathan Schnarr & Kevin Bahl... long term project... and a 1st= 20 OA (only real value here)
Tatar offset the extra contract year... Getting MID6 Prospect NHL ready in Peohling add more value than Merkley... and OK the 2nd could be move for a first in 2021.

Hall is a rental, not Gaudreau ...
