Any trade for Manson has to include Liljegren or ANA is instantly not interested

Lol Manson played bad against the leafs last night. Didn't realize how bad at defence he was.

Basing Manson's skill off 1 game (especially his defensive skill against one of the most offensively strong teams in the league) is kinda near sighted. If you look at his stats over the last 3 years he has very high defensive zone starts and is always one of the top TOI players for the teams PK. This year his zone starts have been more even and his CF% has gone way up (as it naturally should on a rebuilding team). He is a heavy hitter which the leafs lack and overall solid defensively. Leafs would be blessed to get him on their roster.

I have not watched a lot of Manson he did have a few rough moments last night but a few great plays on the PK. What are Ducks fans opinion of Manson compared to Fowler? Because watching last night Manson was almost exclusively on with him and Fowler to me seems like the one who really stabilizes that pairing.

Once again ask me how this benefits Anaheim? They don't need more wingers. But they will need a replacement for Manson. Maybe Anaheim and Buffalo make a deal where Ristolainen heads to Anaheim for Kase or something like that. Then maybe it makes more sense.

Anaheim needs scoring, not defence.
