Not sure why CGY would trade a RFA Bennett for UFA Gally with the year he has been having??? He costs 2M more is a left wing and doesn’t bring the intangibles that Bennett does.

I have no problem moving Bennett but the return needs to make sense for our needs

No he doesn't. Just because he's traded a lot on here isn't an indication of his lack of skill, but the fact that the team has moved on without him and there's no room for him.

He's still a serviceable 2RW or 3C. His contract isn't great, but it's not bad either.

He's 50% CF Career. You can work with that. Give him more offensive zone starts and you'll have an effective player. PIT just can't give him a lot of O-zone at 3C starts due to...well you know.

Let him fill the gap while Kotkeniemi finds his footing again.
