I’ve said all along they’d prefer to sign him. Comes down to can they afford him versus how big of a return can they get.

I like the trade for both teams. If I'm Boston I would be eyeing Demelo (RHD 900k cap hit, extremely underrated) over Borowiecki and would also take a look at adding Tyler Ennis for some bottom 6 skill.

A couple insiders on twitter have said the Rangers really want krieder back and prefer not to trade him

Don’t know too much about demelo but i love Borowiecki’s game plays tough and would be a good pair with Grez. I don’t see us trading for more than 2 forwards unless someone in the lineup gets traded, i also like Ennis but don’t see him fitting in the Bruins lineup
