Okay well Aston-Reese and Blueger were both on the team last year. Kessel is gone but he's been replaced by Galchenyuk in terms of defensive deficiencies. The only forwards who weren't on the team last year are Tanev, Kahun, and Lafferty. So maybe the entire team (including Johnson) improved defensively due to a change in playing style and actually listening to their head coach and maybe we don't have to buy him out since he isn't that bad
