      More deals coming. Specifically, Avalanche want Kapanen bad, and would prefer to bring Kerfoot back to shore up 3C spot. Would be a hockey deal and not any sort of rental trade.

      Elliotte Friedman shared with me. Not sure yet if he's reported it, but I believe he made mention of it on the CBC broadcast Saturday night.

      He did not tell me the return, or who the Leafs were specifically eyeing. He did mention that 2 Leaf scouts and Laurence Gilman, the Leafs Assistant GM, was at the Colorado Eagles game this past Saturday night. I would hope that means the Leafs are looking at Timmins, or maybe even Bowers (which I would assume might be pretty tough for Leafs to acquire), but those players are my own speculation.
