I honestly have no idea what Yzerman is going to do about defense next year I know it's horrible this year, but it might be worse next year. Everyone is saying SIGN KRUG!!! SIGN KRUG!! Just because he's a Michigan boy. I think this would be a mistake! We'd get the good years out of him when we are bad and when we are good he will be a bad contract. Is Seider and McIsaac going to be NHL ready next year? UFA suggestion? AA goes to arbitration and gets 4 million. Also, I'm anticipating that we drop to 4th OA for Tim Stutzle. Assuming no trades at TDL.

McIsaac will not be ready to make the jump from juniors to Detroit. He will be in GR next year, and maybe get his 9 games like Lindstrom is getting right now. And if Lindstrom does good for his 9 games, who knows, maybe he starts on the roster next year and we don't have to sign anybody. But most likely we will just sign someone in free agency.

I'm guessing around $6M-$7M after a long conversation with a Boston I'll look for the link later when I have my computer, but all you have to do is google Torey Krug leaving Boston going to Detroit.
