Overpayment for domi, a 1st and a B prospect should be good enough. If not then its not worth it for the pens

I actually don't see many cases where MTL is even willing to trade him, I kinda shot high on all trades (maybe exclud. Galchenyuk) just to have bases covered if we did end up getting rid of Johnson/Bjugstad. I wouldn't think prices get much higher than these, and if so then you're absolutely right that it wouldn't be worth it for the Pens.

Domi to the Pens was in my dream last night and now I am all in on it.

I think that Domi would be an excellent fit in Pittsburgh. He's fast, highly skilled and plays hard with an edge. A small player but highly effective.

the penguins don't need to add to dump JJ.
They will get a return on him, even if it's a small one.

I like Domi as a player, he's not what they need though.
When games start to get rough he'll do something stupid. And his doing something stupid isn't worth it because he's like 5'10.
If you are going to bring in a top 6 winger with a temper at least find one that is 6'5 or something.

I was thinking that about JJ, I truly think there are teams that would take a flyer on him but I also know this site and everything is blown out of proportion so I basically made all my deals to be a bit high.

And honestly when I dumped JJ & Bjugstad I looked at the team and could only think how physically shallow the team looked. I'd like to pretend Sullivan could iron out some of the nonsense out of his game, but not always the case.

I get that, but for two sub100 picks I think they can make the exception wink

I agree with the physically shallow part. But 5'10 guys don't fix that. They need a bigger power forward guy or something for that.
I honestly think they have answer to some of that in other areas but we'll see.

I agree but if they retain about $1.25M I might take it. Since Yzerman has yet to take a cap dump as a GM I don't see it happening.
