Description
I don’t think will happen but it would have to be the asking price for Toronto to acquire Savard. Milano and Schmaltz was more of a throw in as a 6th/7th D

Immediate yes from Toronto I guess.

They get a number 4 d-man and a winger to replace Kerfoot. Columbus gets a depth d-man plus a mid 6 forward

not that I wouldn't take this for sure, but would you care if kerfoot was swapped for johnsson? maybe even throw in a 3rd/4th with johnsson

We have no need or want for a wing. Kerfoot is needed to makes this trade work. We need a center.

Would drop Schmaltz and Milano. Milano has something to prove in NHL, Schmaltz is pretty much out of the picture.

The leafs would ask for a forward replacement coming back and Milano is basically done in Columbus. Probably could get a better player then schmaltz, just didn’t know who else to pick from Toronto as a D coming back.

Savard would likely drop Ceci from the lineup, so you could maybe take Ceci and a semi high pick as compensation? Kerfoot+Ceci+3rd for Savard+Milano could work...

Then we need a pick coming back. Schmaltz isn’t enough of a booster. And I love Jordan he’s from up the road from where I’m from but he’s not enough of a topper to get Savard and Milano. Milano is a top 9 forward just not under this coach and with this many bottom 6 players.

That could work. I think either schmaltz or Ceci with torts would help them improve their games as he’s done wondered for Harrington already.

I don’t think Milano would ever get a full shot with torts to play with top players. Milano with top 6 players would be a top 6 forward, but with bottom 6 players he struggles.

I think Schamltz would work out in Columbus because of what torts has done to help other d that have lost almost all hope, example- Harrington.
Friendly_Cannon a aimé ceci.

Toronto would definitely say yes to this I feel. I think Savard is the exact type of player they need, and if they have to move a forward like Kerfoot or Johnsson to do it, I think it's worth while. You mentioned the Jackets needing a center for it to work, but Kerfoot has been playing wing lately for the Leafs. Not sure if that changes anything for you since he's a natural center.

I think Toronto would make this trade. I’d inquire to see what makes up the difference if any of we aimed for Anderson over Milano. Not a deal breaker but I’d rather pick up the big guy from Burlington

I know your just implying but there is a huge difference between Andy and Milano.

While your assessment of Milano is correct. I believe he is worth more than schmaltz. He was a waiver wire pickup and I agree he could turn it around this ain’t the trade to acquire him in. I’d prefer a 1-1 deal Kerfoot for Savard.

I don’t know if you used the wrong word here or not, but I’m not implying, I’m inquiring. If Kerfoot and Schmaltz could get me Savard and Milano, I’m curious to what gets me from Milano to Anderson? I’m assuming a bit more but I want to see if it would be reasonable.
