Description
Kase deal based off of Lebrun article. Added Backes with money retained plus a 2nd. Not too sure if that is enough for Kreider. Dillon deal is fair as SJ gets 2 young players with some upside. Moore is an easy trade as teams require bottom pairing dmen while his cap hit isn't too bad.

Rather not acquire Dillon and just let Grz/Lauzon keep building chemistry.

After taking one to the head I'd be hesitant on Kreider

SJ deal is meh. Don't hate it, don't love it.

Bruins will need the depth on d if they hope for a long playoff run. Also, while I'm a big fan of Lauzon the quetsion would be just how much can you trust a rookie in a playoff game?

Won't know until you put him in the situation. We're talking about a 3rd pairing defensive d-man though. You're not leaning on him for big minutes. If we were leaning on him to be a #3/#4 then sure I could see it, but the reality is he's a #6 that plays on your PK.

I agree with you and I'd love for K. Miller to return to be that extra dman when/if the Bruins play a physical team like the Capitals but the reality is that Miller probably won't play this year. Playoffs is a grind and I can guarantee someone will get injured thus an acquisition like Dillon or Hainsey would be immense. Good dmen with a physical presence. If the Bruins had Miller against the Blues last year Bruins raise the Cup.

I actually really like the Anaheim deal. It’s a nice happy medium. I think, like others said, its good to avoid Kreider. I certainly wouldn’t give up that much given the injury. I’m out on Dillon, i guess if it only costs shen and a nothing, maybe. But i want grzelcyk on the left side, and I’ve liked what I’ve seen from lauzon and Clifton.

No from SJ, really only Shen is worth something, and they would much rather have a 2nd than him.

Dillion isn't really needed, maybe a depth Rd but the left is pretty solid. Kase is a good add but losing heinen for a bit of kreider just doesn't seem worth it. I just don't love the player.

Maybe you cant trust him but they have SOOOOO much depth. Kampfer stepped in last year and looked great. Contrary to other, I really liked Moore's play in the SC and Clifton also looked good. I really dont see why theyd give up assets for another guy
