Lias was a 7th overall pick, he's got tremendous upside. Throw in Athanasiou's current feelings about the team situation, this might be a better sell than you think.

His feelings about what? His issues with management was under another GM.

This is pure Sh#t. So we give up a guy off a 30 goal season who has been hurt most of the season and two picks for the 7th round pick who can not crack a team who paid alot money for players this year and can not crack the lineup?

His feeling mean nothing as he is RFA for two years. He can take his stick and go home, but Wings retain his rights.

No way Andersson comes to Detroit his temper tantrum at the WJC's when he threw his silver medal in to the stands or the fact he walked out on his team mid season you can keep Captain Duchebag in NY.

Plus his problem with the Wings is now the GM in Edmonton. Yzerman made it a point to get in touch with AA in the off season to let him know that would have no affect on his status with the team. You might want to get your facts straight before you make statement that make you look like you don't have a clue.

Plus AA is an RFA for 2 more seasons signing for another season won't be a problem.
