Caufield isn't ready, needs another year in college and another go with the US Jr team.
Also who knows whats going to happen with Romanov, KHL is so unpredictable

Just a first and a B prospect for Tatar ? No way . Even for a first and a good prospect , better ask politely !

if you dont watch i'm sure its confusing
but the KHL is as predictable as it comes
Bars, Avangard , SKA and CSKA always lead their division
Before SKA rose up it was Dynamo the perennial powerhouse for the Bobrov Division

Not all teams , Facilities or Owners are the same in Russia.
Its more like Baseball where 3-5 teams dominate Free Agency and the rest get leftovers at career lows like Cracknell , Setigouchi , or Cheechoo off the top of my head all playing for teams you'd never expect to have a Gagarin Cup

Romanov will be here next year
If Federov thinks he's ready as per Marc Bergavin in his return from Russia
the i think he's good to go. (you might not remember but it was Federov MTL called on about Sergachev who fell into our laps and he's also who MB talked to about Panarin the 2 years he scouted him trying to sign him before he chose CHI wisely . )

No first and B prospect . Where gonna keep him unless someone give us what we want . For example Samuel Poulin + 2nd would make us think .
But just a random 28th pick + a prospect that is meh , we're gonna keep Tatar since this value should be obtain at end of next year as well .

Only contender will trade for Tatar so it's obviously a late one . Perfect scenario is a tweener team forgotting to protect and then we get Lafreniere ! Yeah your right , could be top 5 !

It think Racliffe and a 1st is just about where you want to be
i think you swing that 3rd over to PHI's side though as Ratcliffe's not good enough nor is the 1st early enough for MTL to add pick .

if we were getting Frost,Ginning or Farabee but instead their equivelant to Jacob Olofsson . (solid potential as a middle 6 guy but will take 2-3 years minimum
