I just don't see him fetch 3.3 M deal yet . The way he play this year , he's comparable are not that high (of course that just my opinion) . I would think that something around 1.2-1.5 for 1 or 2 years would do it. Will see in July and we can joke each other about it then .

it's like paying KK 4.2 M , ok , but out of what production ? Nowadays big RFA'S gets deal at 21 , should we pay KK out of potential ? Wouldn't have been better to use a player Nhl ready like Tkachuck so at least you get the production while you let the long term development of the player to his own . After all they all are relief at 26 and it's fair to think that a kid who arrived here at 19 would wanna leave by 26 for somewhere where he can live a more normal hockey life .

Mete need a new contract this year 2020-21 . What will be the term we can speculate . I think he's gonna take a 2 years deal worth around 1.5-1.7 but who knows ? If it's only a 1 years deal , its a prove me season and of course his salary will reflect performance . But to think in advance that he's gonna significally be better idk .
