Toews gets anywhere from 4-5 I think, and Pulock's contract is probably pretty accurate although Pelech will be getting a big pay-raise 2021-22 so I think a Clutterbuck trade might be good if we're talking contracts, Komarov absolutely needs to go. Barzal most likely gets anywhere from $6.25 (if we're lucky) to $8mn on a 3 year bridge deal, although 10x8 isnt bad.

Do you think something like 4.25 by 4 or 5 would be better for Toews? I agree on doing clutter trade but I didn't include it because I was only doing trades for offseason/at the draft. I also agree on a Komarov trade but I just don't see it happening. Seems like staff loves him, good on pk, and is a good locker room guy.

Komarov is just that, a room guy, and giving 3 million for a job that can be done by a Matt Martin or Ross Johnston both at $1mn is ridiculous and the exact reason why we're approaching a cap crunch. Lou loves him though, you're right, I really don't like the direction Lou is taking this team in at all, we needed a big trade or signing and we havent got one, instead we're wasting valuable cap on bottom-6 guys. Anyways, sorry for the rant haha, yeah I think Toews would be good at 4.25-4.5 max, although i'm worried he'll get more than that.

I agree that the job could be done by someone like Johnston which I would love but yeah, I don't see Lou moving Komarov but we can hope! haha
