The only thing you're even remotely close on in this entire post is that you're gonna get roasted. Good luck.

Honestly you'd be better off with just offer sheeting him when summer comes.

See I just don’t understand this. Is this not a better off than any offer sheet that AC might receive? There is a wilderness of NTC/NMC that TB is going to have to figure out this year unlike last year.

My valuation? I'm more curious about yours and why. Any player that's getting traded for essentially 2 1st round picks, a mid round pick, a very good young d-man prospect and a good young NHL ready forward better be a franchise changing type player. Cirelli is not that by any stretch

Edit: plus there is NO way you're essentially getting 2 1st round picks and a 3rd for Ristolainen. He's very overrated. Stats and eye tests prove that

I actually didnt see you added Casey Mittelstadt to the deal as well.

The tweak I would make is, I dont think you need two seconds in the deal, especially if you're including Mittelstadt, but if you're tampa bay, you need Buffalo's first, not Vegas. If Buffalo misses the playoffs of course. If I am vegas however, I think id be more interested in reacquiring Colin Miller at a lesser cost, who you know can produce for you as opposed to Ristolainen for more. I also think thats too much for Ristolainen with NJD's first. Probably a first and maybe a third plus a prospect. Vegas still has a lot of assets from the expansion draft, i probably would try to acquire a cheaper asset than Ristolainen although a need may be there. I don't think Ristolainen makes them a Stanley Cup contender this year though.... I probably would look at a lower cost guy like a Brendan Dillion or Marco Scandella

Cirelli is already one of the best two way forwards in the game. I think it's a fair offer, but If I am Tampa, I am keeping Cirelli at all costs...I would try to move another contract before him given his age

Cirelli at age 22 is TB's second leading goal scorer and top penalty killing forward and a centerman. He may not be worth all that, but his value is incredibly high and not someone TB should be moving IMO. A first, a top prospect, and more is probably a fair offer given his age, contract, twoway ability and position. But Tampa probably rejects every offer unless they are really blown away, and maybe they are with the above offer, but I still doubt they move him. They need good cheap young players, and to move out money if they do trade someone

I mean, Cirelli should be one of the front runners to win the Selke this year so assuming his offense fully develops (and the fact he is 22 tells me there is a good chance) then you have exactly what you described.

I'd offer mango and 2 firsts from Toronto for perspective, and that's with massive os AND cap leverage against Tampa.

The cool part of not having a 3rd rd pick is the Sabres would have to offer the max compensation, 4 1st rd picks, in an offer sheet....

Where are you seeing 2 first round picks? The NJD 2nd rounder pick is in 2021. Used the Travis Hamonic trade as a barometer.

Regardless that’s Not really a massive point. I’d probably be fine with getting Vegas 1st round and just a 2nd or whatever.

That being said I knew the sticking point would be Buffalo or Vegas’ 1st rounder. It all depends on where they land. Say BUF lands around 10:
I’d be willing to trade 10, Mittelstadt and a later pick (5round or later). That’s more than fair.

Then somebody should absolutely offer sheet him. They can’t afford him at 6-6.5M

Wouldn't be shocked if both Segachev and Cirelli aren't offer sheet material.

New Jersey isn't going to be good again next year so their 2nd round pick will be within the first 5 picks of the second round, which is essentially another 1st round pick which is what I said.

As good as Cirelli has been, it's really only been this season and parts of last season. That's not long enough to justify giving up so much for him when he plays with such good players. Look at the compensation for what he's likely to sign for. He'll sign likely around the $5M AAV point, that only compensates a 1st and 3rd round pick.. and you're willing to give up 5 assets for that? That's insane.
