I think Chicago is likely to be sending the higher pick to Philly in this type of deal. Gostisbehere is a year younger and locked up for longer term at less money than Saad. I can't see the Flyers having to add more for that value difference.

This is definitely a Stan bowman style trade. Not exactly necessary, but what the hell, why not do it cuz COST CONTROL!

Based on Saad’s play this year, I’d take 2 3rd round picks to be comfortable with the trade. Even then, I’d still be questioning if another team could give us a better deal.
