Nick Robertson is currently having one of the best seasons in OHL history. With 33 goals in 30 games he currently sits at 1.1 goals per game. What an absolute steal the Leafs got at 53 overall. The interesting thing is that he’s only born 5 days earlier from being eligible from the 2020 NHL Draft. Do you guys think he could’ve challenged Alexis Lafreniere for the first overall pick if his draft year was 2020?
Drafted players usually do better in the years after their draft. Toronto got a great pick and I hope he succeeds but I don't think he's better than Lafreniere or a lot of others in his draft place.
Please stop making these non-senicial topics. There really isn't anything to discuss and they just clutter the website.

Well, this was brought up by Leafs writer Kevin Papetti talking about what a steal the Leafs got and how he could’ve been elegible for the 2020 NHL draft. If he had an extra year to prepare, he might be at his current level.

We don't need a topic for every thought some nobody MLHS writer has.
