They might pull out if they face BOS in the first round lol.

At first they should actually get into a playoff position though.

Lol, a condition like that would lose dubas his job. You want 90% of dumba’s value and a side wager for 200% of his value. Looks like a win win for the wild.

How about conditional 1st if leafs win the cup in 20 or 21. That seams more reasonable. Maybe even just scf or ecf.

I'm just kidding around because I'm sick of seeing all of these Dumba trades lol

I'm a leafs fan and I'm tired of it too, I've also said many times if the leafs want Dumba Nylander is going the other way whether most leaf fans like it or not.

It’s just boring because there are so many leafs fans on here. And everyone wants to put their own spin on it. I’m sure there are a few in originals just by pure chance alone. Leafs and wild are talking though. Always nice when both sides have something fun to speculate about.

It just gets annoying when the spin is whether it's a 2nd or 3rd rounder lol

If the Leafs miss the playoffs I think something has to give and Nylander moving is definitely possible. No cap flexibility is created with any other moves, and hard to improve the defense without moving out a guy making that much. And they aren't moving the other 3 and I can't see them having any scoring issues without Nylander there.

Nylander Tavares Matthews and marner will not be moved unless it is some sort of crazy over pay. They are untouchable.

Leafs have over10m invested kappy, Mango and kerfoot. All are easily replaceable. They also have a lot of decent prospects coming in which means we will have to move at least one of those players to fit them in.

The leafs also have no cap issues next season.

If Rielly and muzzin were both healthy we wouldn’t be talking about the leafs not making the playoffs. Rielly has an undisclosed injury he started the season with and now out for 8 weeks.. well 7 now. Muzzin should be back after the allstar.

13 million to fill 7 roster spots seems like it's an issue to me, and I have no idea if Rielly is included or not in that because of the LTIR? If he's not then it's 8 million to fill 7 spots. Not ideal. Nylander seems untouchable at this moment but I guess we'll see if they miss and what the fallout is if it happens.

14.2m to fill 6 spots. (83.5m cap) 3 spots are the 4th line.

4th line= 2.4m
Rfa= 7.5m

4.3m left over for an rhd. And 2 scratches.

Moving let’s say Johnsson would would leave us about 7.7m for the rhd.

Either way I’m not concerned to much. Leafs have zero bad contracts. We could move our entire third line from this season and replace them next season internally.

If there’s one thing that’s played more like a broken record than poor leafs fans trades, it’s the fabled cap crunches.
