no. as a habs fan i agree with the bruins fan. carlo is 6'5 23 year old right shot pmd. he'll cost u a ton, esp considering that it is a trade with a divisional rival

role players is cutting them short, boston doesnt have good depth in their middle 6 forwards and this would help that

nordstrom is your typical speed 4th liner, plays pk, blocks shots, good forecheck, gives you nothing offensively. Kuhlman is progressing into a solid middle 6 player himself. Had a pretty decent couple games in the playoffs, hes undersized but fast and can make plays. Boston isnt sending carlo for those guys. nevermind adding kuhlman and a 2nd to the mix lol. We are more than happy beating you if you even make it to the playoffs.

no they are role players. neither player is significant. they are playing with great playmaking centers and only putting up 40-50 points. those guys are literally everywhere in the league.

they play on the 3rd line because the leafs have good winger depth, love kerfoot but wouldnt call him a playmaking center by any means, they are guys that with more oppurtunity will produce more, keep thinking whatever you want tho,

the leafs need carlo more than the bruins need a 3rd line winger

Kapanen has been a borderline 1 RW by points and goals in the last 1.5 years. As surprising as that sounds.

I don't think people realize how little a 3rd line winger scores...

By any metric they are both higher end 2nd line wingers

(That's more because wingers are a lot less impactful than people think than any big compliment to them)

if im trading a shutdown rd thats capable of 20+ points, it better be a true top 6 forward. not 2 middle 6 forwards that are literally a dime a dozen. same reason you arent getting petro for bracco kk and a pick.

both fo them can play in the top 6, like i said kapanen is the 3rd right winger behind marner and nylander, so he gets the shot end of the stick, he can play top 6 , also dont compare petro to carlo please

Both deals are awful for Toronto, but even more so, there is no way a trade with the Bruins happen mid-season, let alone ever.
