Tatar starts with a 1st + top prospect. I don't know if JP qualifies as a top prospect. I think Montreal holds on to Tatar if we don't get what we want. It's not like he's a UFA and has to be traded.

Oh, absolutely. I just don't think he's without value. Anyone that can score 1.1 P/GP in the AHL as a rookie has some value. Certainly at least the 3rd round pick they gave up for him, maybe more as he didn't have any pro experience at the time. His boxcars are only down this year because he's been playing through injuries.

Yesterday tatar wasn’t worth it. But when a oilers fan post a terrible trade you want him badly. Come on dude. Tatar is only coming to edmonton if they pay the price. Its a prospect and a first round pick. Montreal can take back some salary back but that package have absolutely no value.

You can use your brain and see here that this deal is hot trash. How a 43 point winger would be traded for a players who is in finland and haven’t show that he is capable of playing hockey in nhl, a guy who have 21 goal in 200 nhl game and a ahl players. If you pretend to be a hockey fan you know that this trade is garbage.

I think Klefbomb, Nurse, Bear, Benning, Yamamoto, Archibald, Kassian, Nuge are pretty good too, Nuge would be number 1 center on the Habs right now and he is our 5 or 6th best player

RNH would likely push Domi out of 2C because Danault is having almost as good an offensive season and is better defensively by a good amount.

Nugent hopkins wouldn’t be our first line center. Phillip danault would still be ahead of him. And it not even close. Archibald ???jesus when you mention archibald as your best player you know that it’s terrible.

I could continue all day long goiing against the oilers but i don’t want to because i like that team even if they have a big hole in that offensive squad. They need to add a third line center and at lest two good winger to olay in the top 9 to help them. The offense can’t rely on 2 guys. Neal have been effective on powerplay but at even strength have barely make a impact only 7 goal at even strength. Kassian have been pretty solid but that been it for the winger in Edmonton. This is a big lack that they will need to adresse in the futur.

Yah if Nuge had decent wingers to play with in the last 5 years, he would be better too. Nuge always gets the crap

Sorry i missed on my list where i said Neal, let me look again.....Nope I never mention Neal and Archibald happens to be my fav player, him and Kassian, Archibald is the reason why Oilers have the number top Pk in the league. Like I told my staff before, you need all kinds of players on the team, you cant have all superstars, you have to have average people to to make the team work right.

The facts that its a lot easier to find archibald type of players then winger who can score goal on a consistent basis. Thats the point here, archibald as good as he is in is role won’t turn into a top 9 productive players. That what the oilers are missing the most. Nugent hopkins number have been down this year but he havent had good winger. If you look at top seeded team in the league, they all have secondary scoring.

Archibald played 1 game on the top line with Kassian out and he got one goal, great start
Nuge is plaing with Yamamoto and Drai now, Oilers are 5-1-1 with Yamamoto in the line up. Nuge was hurt with a hand injury and that is a good reason why his stats are down, but him and McDavid always come on strong at the last half of the year. Yes we are missing 1 skilled winger and we all know that, everyone in the nhl knows that.

One good winger and a 3 line center. That third line center become even more important in playoff when you are on the road. This is the biggest need. A real good goalie would hurt to but they have been ok this year.
