Dillon is better than Ceci and Barrie all on expiring contracts. But switching Dillon or any player now to his "new side", so the benefit might be diminished. Leafs really don't need a LHD.

No one ever thinks about that! It drives me nuts. It's like when a guy goes on waivers and fans of teams who have 49 contracts say, "that guy has no value because we didn't pick him up for free!" But never think that would be there last contact slot and make trades way more difficult. It's just ignorance

I don't often "bad mouth" trades. But geez what I don't like (as do most CF fans) are completely one sided trades... for on ice value, or one team absorbs way too much cap. Then if I'm a the mood...I'll "snap"
