If sabres go 7-2-1 and still aren’t in a spot... sell. Only way you make any headway is if other teams falter.

I said it would put them in the race, probably 2 or 3 points out.

Or possibly push them down further or maybe just status quo. When you are behind without games in hand you are really subject to what other teams are doing.

My point is that it may not. Sabres going 7-2-1 is a long shot. Sabres doing that and all of the teams above them doing worse is a bit more of a long shot.

Let’s put it this way. Sabres go 7-2-1. There are only 2 games in the next 10 with teams leading them in the east. Both are against CBJ. So buffalo goes 7-2-1 and loses both games to cbj. If buffalo were playing the teams above them and going 7-2-1 it would go a lot further.

Would love to see buffalo in the playoffs. TDL isn’t till the 24th. Think you will have a better idea then.
