I think a more logical solution would be: The NHL allows the Leafs to "borrow". Sens Chabot and Kings Doughty. Chabot would like a playoff run and Doughty would like another playoff run. The Sens and Kings would retain the rights to these players next season. Kings would be responsible for Doughty's cap this year.

I see all kinds of Leaf trades because of injuries. Guess the Leafs are the only team that suffers injuries .

Now I admit the Leafs have had more injuries than some teams this year, but so many of these trades posts are really so bad for either the Leafs or the other team.
Leafs razor think NHL depth on defence will be put to the test. No easing of Sandin into the "playoff run". Actually I'm less concerned about the LHD. Dermot, Marincin and Sandin. It's the RHD...Barrie is so bad. Holl and Ceci have to at least be competent.

Actually it was sarcasm, cause it only matters what Blue is and all excuses should be used to justify the fails.....

Like playing in own zone was hurt at all by Rielly out, and ppl are still holding tight on Barrie......will never understand how much more obvious it can be that best 2 Ds in the eyes of "allknowing fanbase" are actually two-way wingers and Muzzin is the only A level D that TML has....NHL 2019 kids checking Points and valuating Ds based on that.....
