Not unreasonable for Van but they're not in the market to move J.T. Pittsburgh gets rid of a struggling Goaltender for a solid offensive upgrade and the Leafs get ripped apart. Kapanen and Johnsson are the two guys they need to help with secondary scoring because everyone above them costs too much. They have to move a big contract (Nylander) not two littler ones. No from Toronto. No from Vancouver but they would love to look at something like this except moving Tyler Myers for less than 3 pieces. Murray doesn't have the kind of value this deal thinks he does.

Yes, you are. This would put Toronto beyond fixable for cap. Murray is a rental and they cant afford JT. Explain how they filled their forward slots replacing 3 guys with 1 and using up almost 80% of that money in the one new player. With Murray taking up money as well their forwards literally dont add up to 12 and they have no movement left. When Muzzin and Reilly come off LTIR they have to waive Ceci or Murray. It just doesn't work.
