This is a solid trade for TOR. McNabb is a solid defensive defenseman. Perfect for a guy like Barrie.

He’s been the Sharks best player for about three weeks and hes their best chances at getting back into this season. LOL (you and your consistently vapid responses will now ignore list). The crap prospects you send to SJ are not more than the typically overvalued trash from TO. See ya.

SJS is giving up a garbage back up goalie and a nothing prospect. It would be stupid for them not to accept that.

Hardly garbage. You clearly haven’t looked at his stats this season, save% and GAA are above your 10million dollar starters LOL. He is San Joses first goalie in two years to get above .900, he is spearheading the sharks turnaround. Dahlen is a pretty decent prospect actually

I know having a .907 save percentage might feel like Vezina level numbers over there in San Jose, but he’s not that good. Georgiev or a UFA goalie would be a better option, therefore, the Sharks would b stupid not to accept. Bracco has potential and Tima is already an NHL player. Kaski is a 3rd stringer but honestly might b better than Jones (sarcasm, kind of)

well put.
Dahlen and Bracco are pretty much equivalent swaps.

That means Dell for Timashov and a placeholder goalie. The sharks towel has been thrown. Dell is a UFA. UFA goalies hardly get anything... look at Kinkaid last year. Dell might be the only good thing on the sharks right now, but that doesn't mean he is suddenly worth McDavid and Draisaitl combined.
Declining a trade that fills the sharks with prospects, something they don't have hardly any of, is a very unwise move. If the public knew a trade like this was rejected, Vancouver would be quick to teach San Jose how to riot.

the fact that you don't know what position those guys play tells me that you're not really in a position to discern their value

Just look at last year's Kinkaid. Lot of devils fans were in the same boat last year saying he was playing better than the rest, however they still only got a 5th for him. Because of Dell's contract AAV and the fact that there's not a huge market for goaltenders, the most he gets is a fourth. I understand that he might be playing good, but goalies don't get the value that people expect. Your best bet for your franchise is to move dell for whatever the top offer is and move on. (This trade is a pretty darn good rebuild starter too... I cannot understand how you could possibly think that's not enough)

Dell is a backup and Dahlen is playing in a tier below the SHL. If San Jose didn't accept they'd be stupid.

I wish people would fact check below posting ignorant comments. Dell has been the sharks starter since DeBoer was fired. Please, check your facts, so you don’t spread misinformation as ppl on here will repeat it over and over again for months without hesitating

Why would the leafs do this? You want to package AJ for hopefully a top4 dman if you move him. Not a bottom pair dman and a forth liner.

The fact is Dell has been a career backup for a reason and will always be a backup goaltender. He's been solid, but just because he's been solid and playing better than Jones (which isn't hard) doesn't make him an actual regular starting goaltender in the league. Please stop posting "ignorant" stuff on here before you do your own fact checking.

So two weeks makes him a legitimate starter in the league? Try again.

He also think Dell is a legitimate full time starter in the NHL because of numbers he's put up in two weeks. He has no clue what he is talking about.

you go throwing around the hypocrite insult, ill counter that with you being brainwashed.

He could be the league's best goalie for all I care and he still wouldn't get that great of a return. Look at Kuemper on LA. He was in a position similar to that of Dell - starting to steal quick's minutes and putting up some very nice numbers. He was on a better and longer contract than Dell. Yet still, all LA got for him was a struggling Tobias Rieder and a late round pick. Kuemper is and was a far better goalie than Dell.

As Stephen Tyler says, Dream on!
