Rakell is probably the ducks best young offensive player. i highly doubt they will trade him for that let alone trade him at all. Maybe if you offered them Poulin, Addison, and a first. But then the pens are paying too much so it will likely never happen.

Cant see Schultz wanting to come to ANA, we drafted him and he didnt want to sign here I doubt we've done anything to change his mind

Ducks decline that trade either way though

Heck no to that Chicago trade. not trading Joseph and a 2nd for Saad's $6M hit this summer.

Bjugstad is a obvious cap dump (injured a lot) and carrying a salary of $5M and $5.25m this year and next exceeding his cap hit. Nobody in their right minds wants that contract for a guy who can't stay on the ice and besides a couple seasons hasn't put up much in terms of production. If you include him, you're going have to pay a 1st round pick since it's a late one, plus one of Legare, Hallander, or Joseph. Hawks would retain $1M on Saad and give you back that 4th rounder. No way the Hawks touch this as proposed.

This is a joke, right? Bjugstad is worth probably around a 3rd. No way is a 1st needed to move him

Bjustad is in and out of the lineup and carries a heavy cap hit with a salary increase....do you really think a guy that put up 26 points last year and 1 point this year, while below 50% at the dot the last two seasons while carrying a $5.25M salary makes sense to any team turning 28 and 1 year more of his contract before being a UFA? That said, keep him.

Saad with $1M retained needs a 1st and a B+/A- prospect for the Hawks to move him.

just stop.
This nonsense is unreal.
No one wants that Saad contract. No one.
The penguins aren't taking that cap hit.
Jugs is an easy contract to move. He's still a capable player, even if he has had injuries. And it's a one year deal at a decent cap hit.

As reported; edmonton, colorado and your beloved penguins have all expressed interest in Saad. As reported, the Hawks aren't moving Saad unless it's an overpayment.

You think nobody wants Saad but Jugs is easy to move at a $5.25M salary....LMAO....okay homer!

as click bait?

Honestly. The penguins don't want that 6 million cap hit. You can keep that.

And we are happy to keep it if a team isn't going to overpay as Saad has been fantastic this year, he's peaking right now and is our 2nd best forward...better then Cat or Toews.
